I'm a guy at a place and I like to comment on videos made by my betters. I've found that as time goes on my comments are becoming less neutral and more negative. And negativity is a dime a dozen on the 'net. I used to love video games. Okay, that's too far. I used to really enjoy video games. They were that thing I wanted to spend my life doing. Now, not so much. In the past few years, and really in the last decade, I have found a greater disconnect with what I very nearly considered a potential passion. They have become something I just cannot understand. I can't maintain an interest in the conversation because everything I see feels derivative of something else I never liked. There is a fourth Gears of War. There is a second (?) Mirror's Edge. There are three Dark Souls games. Plus Demon Souls. Plus Bloodborne.
